Oh man, I usually bang on about how great running is for my sleep, but despite going out for a seven mile run yesterday morning I just could not sleep last night. Usually I’m ready for bed at 8:30pm, but nope, wide awake and craving toast at 2am. So I thought this morning’s run was not going to happen and resigned myself to take an impromptu rest day and have a lie in. But what do you know, 6:30am rolls up and I’m up and raring to go smash out 5k on four hours sleep.
I don’t cope well on little sleep. I need at least 8 hours a night to feel even remotely human. It’s only a matter of time before I crash spectacularly today, but I got my run done and that’s the main thing!
